Job Purpose: The Project Manager will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of SharePoint solutions for our client. This role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and team members, managing timelines, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, and providing regular updates on progress and issues.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the replacement of our client’s staff share drives with SharePoint solutions, ensuring functionality across multiple pages, sites, and sub-sites for ten internal components.
Coordinate development and testing efforts for our client’s sites, collaborating with COR and ACOR to ensure new requirements are met.
Maintain communication with staff, facilitating training, support, and development updates.
Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot user and administrator issues, and provide timely updates on problem resolution.
Deliver weekly summaries of outstanding issues and monthly progress reports to COR and ACOR.
Ensure project milestones are met while adhering to government protocols and security requirements.
Education and Qualifications
Must have a High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Proven experience in managing SharePoint-based projects.
Certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
Certifications in Project Management (PMP preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
