Information Management Analyst

Reston, VA
Job Purpose:
The position entails handling a diverse range of responsibilities, including the development, writing, and editing of materials for communication releases, reports, manuals, briefs, instructional materials, and related technical and administrative publications that pertain to work methods and procedures. The role involves interpreting and adapting guidelines, including unwritten policies, precedents, and practices, which may not always be entirely applicable to evolving situations.

The following tasks are typically associated with and expected to be performed:
  • Create and maintain document management processes as needed (e.g., Office365 sites, SAP Portal, MS Office, MS Visio).
  • Maintain project management process documentation and job aids for processes to ensure all documentation is current and in accordance with policy.
  • Assist in defining/maintaining and graphically documenting business processes (e.g., VISIO, PowerPoint) for functional areas to prepare for releases.
  • Create regularly scheduled publications to assist in communicating internally and externally to bureaus and offices with the dissemination of crucial, time-sensitive information.
  • Create newsletters and coordinate video recordings of training sessions and key meetings, including posting for Bureau accessibility.
  • Collaborate on document flow management on SAP portal.
  • Recommend and assist in the publication of information in all media, including the portal, internal and external websites, and events.
  • Oversee logistics of office surveys.
  • Plan, direct, and/or execute other tasks and special projects and analyses as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to work professionally in a team environment and provide assistance and guidance to fellow team members, promptly and willingly. Serves in other teams or branches as directed and requested on an as needed basis. Work assignments in other areas will be directed and coordinated by the contract personnel only.
