The On-Site Lead / Logistics Management Specialist serves as the primary on-site leader responsible for overseeing logistics and supply chain operations in support of a future federal client. This individual provides day-to-day leadership, ensures contract performance, coordinates with government stakeholders, and leads strategic logistics initiatives while maintaining continuity of operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced logistics professional with extensive Air Force supply chain expertise and the ability to manage both personnel and mission-critical deliverables.

This individual provides day-to-day leadership, ensures contract performance, coordinates with government stakeholders, and leads strategic logistics initiatives while maintaining continuity of operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced logistics professional with extensive Air Force supply chain expertise and the ability to manage both personnel and mission-critical deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of personnel supporting logistics operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client regarding contract performance and operational activities.
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain and sustainment initiatives.
- Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop, update, and execute supply chain strategies and implementation plans.
- Apply life-cycle logistics principles to improve operational efficiency and mission readiness.
- Utilize strategic sourcing methodologies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Monitor contract performance, staffing continuity, and service delivery.
- Prepare executive briefings, reports, and recommendations for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies, and security procedures.
- Support process improvement initiatives that enhance logistics operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of Air Force supply chain management experience; ten (10) or more years preferred for leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading logistics or supply chain operations.
- Experience with life-cycle logistics, strategic sustainment, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (no interim).
