Job Purpose: The Mailroom / Production Support Clerk provides comprehensive mailroom, reproduction, and administrative support services for our client. This role ensures the timely, secure, and accurate processing of official mail, packages, and documents in support of mission-critical operations. The position also supports vehicle operations, message handling, and compliance with applicable DoD, Army, and security regulations.
Responsibilities:
Receive, sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL).
Maintain accurate mail logs and ensure accountability in accordance with postal and DoD regulations.
Operate mail meters and support postage processing.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of official correspondence.
Operate printers, copiers, scanners, and binding equipment to fulfill customer work orders.
Process both classified and unclassified print jobs.
Prepare, assemble, and finalize printed materials, reports, and presentations.
Maintain logs of print requests and ensure quality and timeliness.
Operate Government vehicles (as authorized) for mail pickup and delivery.
Perform daily preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS).
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, readiness, and operational status.
Track mileage and support dispatch documentation.
Process classified and unclassified messages via the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) .
Ensure proper safeguarding and handling of sensitive and classified materials.
Conduct daily inspections of the Protected Distribution System (PDS) and report anomalies.
Utilize Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite for tracking, reporting, and documentation.
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Provide operational updates as requested by the COR.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working independently in a mailroom environment
Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating large-scale reproduction equipment
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience handling large volumes of mail and documents preferred
Valid driver’s license required
Must possess an active Secret clearance
