Job Purpose: The Contracts Manager serves as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts. This role ensures all agreements are structured to optimize business performance, mitigate risk, and maintain compliance with federal regulations and corporate policies. As a trusted advisor to executives, clients, and partners, the Contracts Manager plays a critical role in driving organizational growth, strengthening operational efficiency, and safeguarding Strativia’s reputation for excellence in contract delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of complex, high-value contracts across federal, state, and commercial portfolios.
Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and program teams on contract terms, risk exposure, and compliance requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contracting officers, clients, and key external stakeholders.
Ensure contract performance aligns with federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), corporate policies, and quality standards.
Drive accountability for deliverables, performance milestones, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks to protect organizational interests.
Partner with business development teams to shape proposals, pricing strategies, and contract structures that enhance competitiveness.
Provide input into capture strategies and bid decisions to strengthen Strativia's position in the marketplace.
Collaborate with finance, HR, and operations leaders to ensure resource planning, reporting, and workforce compliance support contract success.
Develop and implement streamlined processes to accelerate contract reviews and approvals while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Lead initiatives to enhance contract management systems, knowledge repositories, and reporting capabilities.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or related field.
Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in contract management, with significant exposure to federal contracting.
Demonstrated expertise with FAR/DFARS, OFCCP, and other federal regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to lead negotiations, manage contract teams, and oversee multi-million-dollar portfolios.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
