Job Purpose: As a Financial Analyst reporting to Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS), your role will contribute to the provision of voice, data, and video telecommunications products and services to Federal Agencies. Operating within the Invoice and Billing Support Branch (IBS) of ETS, your national responsibilities involve providing financial support and oversight for Regional Services programs. This includes the processing, reconciliation, and analysis of all transactions affecting revenue, cost of goods sold, and gross margin related to reimbursable business activities, particularly for the Full-Service program/WITS. In addition, your responsibilities extend to supporting the program’s financial planning activities and reporting, as well as analyzing financial results.
Responsibilities
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and delivering electronic and physical mail.
Validate charges on vendor invoices, reconcile assigned accounts, and process payments using various GSA business systems (TOPS/TIM/VITAP/Pegasys Business Objects).
Verify charges on vendor invoices and process them into government systems.
Summarize transactions and prepare control documents for front-end business applications.
Electronically process and transmit invoices to the Office of Finance.
Maintain data accuracy in GSA Business Systems.
Reconcile accounts and compare vendor balances with related TOPS data.
Close/finalize inactive vendor accounts.
Prepare documents for Records Management disposition.
Prepare Excel spreadsheets detailing invoices processed from various GSA business systems.
Prepare spreadsheets for customer IPAC and Non-IPAC billings.
Research payment status and past due balances on vendor invoices.
Research customer billing inquiries and address chargebacks and non-IPAC delinquencies.
Manage the GSA mailbox for customer Interagency Agreements/MIPRS/Funding Documents.
Prepare Excel spreadsheets detailing customer IPAC and Non-IPAC billings.
Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent with 2 to 3 years of specialized experience. Education can be substituted with proven 6 to 9 years of specialized experience.
