Controlled Correspondence Clerk

Job Purpose:
To provide advanced and functionally specific expertise in the area of Controlled Correspondence and clerical organization. This position requires experience in assisting the federal lead in managing, compiling, and tracking annual Congressional reports, including all aspects of the correspondence lifecycle process, as well as working closely with program offices to process and review urgent actions for concurrence. In addition, the position requires experience with coordination with agency general counsel, public affairs, and Congressional staff to clear all outgoing communications. Requires ability to manage multiple documents at the same time, ability to manage projects with deadlines, and requires independent thinking to complete projects. Projects will be submitted to the Secretary of Energy and Congress.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience that is relevant and directly related to controlled correspondence at DOE or another federal agency is required.
  • A BS or BA degree (or an additional six (6) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
