We are currently looking to hire a Material Coordinator 
Summary
Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors’ priorities. Reviews productions schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue and to locate material.  Requisitions material and establishes delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material.  Arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet productions schedules.  Arranges with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments.  Examines material delivered to production departments to verify if type specified.  May compute amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes and using adding machine.  May compile report of quantity and type of material on hand.  May move or transport material from one department to another, using hand truck.  May move or transport material from one department to another, using hand truck or industrial truck.   May compile perpetual production records in order to locate material in process of production, using manual or computerized system.
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following are tasks and applicant must be able to perform in this position.  This position overview is not intended to be all-inclusive and the employee may perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the team lead or other higher level managers.
  •  Schedule and conduct annual ITE and Equipment inventories and ensure custodians are performing their accountability responsibilities correctly.
  • Verify accountability for Capital and COMSEC equipment accounts.
  • Process customer GPC, Form 9, AFWAY and SBSS requests for ITE and equipment items.
  • Load and update account records on all computer data bases DPAS related to ITE and equipment.
  • Interface and respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Train ITE and Equipment Custodians and Sub-Custodians
  • Interact with higher headquarters on ITE and Equipment questions.
 
Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
 
 Required:
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
  • Valid NM driver’s license
  • Possess good organization and communication skills, as well as maturity and ability to deal with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company.
  • Familiarity with PC computers, use of compatible software and basic mathematics.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years successful (related) experience and performance in military or civilian workforce.
